How We Grade
Every MintCondition device is fully tested and works like it should. The grade only describes how it looks. We check every device by hand under bright light and grade it on the condition of the screen and the body. Grading never affects performance: an Acceptable laptop runs exactly the same as an As New one.
Our grades

| Excellent | No scratches you'd see when the screen is on. | Very light marks you'd only notice up close. |
| Very Good | Light scratches you may notice when the screen is off. | Light, normal signs of use, such as small scuffs or marks. |
| Acceptable | Deeper scratches may be present, which may affect normal viewing. | Visible wear on the casing, such as scuffs, scratches or small dents. |

Which grade should I choose?
If the device will live in a case, go into a bag every day or be used by kids, Very Good or Acceptable gives you the same performance for less. If you want it to look close to new, choose As New or Excellent.
